Financial Guidelines

Wayfarer has adopted the following financial guidelines to make camp a success:

Payment options:

  • Send payment by check to Wayfarer, PO Box 719, Pawleys Island, SC, 29585. Make checks payable to Wayfarer.
  • Pay by credit card (Visa and MC) by calling Wayfarer @ 843-237-3800.

 
Deposits

  • $50 per person deposit is due upon registration for camp
  • Deposits are non-refundable
  • Deposits are non-transferable after April 1, 2012 should you need to decrease your final number of registrants
  • You camp price is based on when your deposit is received:
Beach Camp
$299 per person if deposit paid by December 1, 2011
$319 per person if deposit paid by January 31, 2012
$339 per person if deposit paid after January 31, 2012
Land Camp
$239 per person if deposit paid by December 1, 2011
$259 per person if deposit paid by January 31, 2012
$279 per person if deposit paid after January 31, 2012


Final Payment and Forms

  • Your final balance, housing list and leader agreement must be received by the Wayfarer office no later than:
    • Converse Camp: 14 days before the first day of camp
    • Beach Camp: 21 days before the first day of camp
  • Groups who do not send final balance, rooming lists and leader agreement to the office by the deadlines above will be charged a $100 late fee


Cancellations and Decreasing Your Number

  • Deposits are non-refundable
  • Deposits are non-transferable to your final balance if you decrease your number after April 13, 2012.
  • If you decrease your number or cancel within 14 days of the first day of your camp you will be responsible for the full balance. All FINAL BALANCE money is non-refundable and non-transferable after June 1, 2012. We regret that we cannot refund or transfer your payment after this time


Waiting List

  • Camp is limited to the first 700 registrants per camp session.
  • You have the option to be added to the waiting list.
  • We do not require a deposit until spots become available.
  • Deposits are then required within 10 business days when you are notified of open spots.
  • If deposits are not received within 10 business days, the spots will be released to the next church on the waiting list.


National Disaster Cancellation

Wayfarer and Anderson University are committed to hosting camp on the scheduled weeks. However, a national disaster or act of terror could render us both unable to host a planned event and unable to return your deposits. We hire staff, purchase equipment, and rent non-refundable facilities based on your reservations. Please be advised that if camp is cancelled due to such extraordinary circumstances, we cannot refund your deposits regardless of other published cancellation dates and deadlines.


Weather Cancellation
Wayfarer and Anderson University has your group's safety in mind as we host camp. If we are unable to host camp due to weather conditions, deposits cannot be refunded. Refunds of final balance payments will be made only if Anderson University refunds Wayfarer for these costs. If camp is hosted as scheduled and your group cancels or reduces numbers due to weather conditions, all payments are non-refundable.
