Chris Brooks
Chris Brooks paints a dangerously compassionate picture of the gospel with a poetic style that tears at the heart. As he asks the hard questions that the Christian life demands, Chris invites us to hear the good news of Christ and join the story God is writing in the world. As a speaker, writer, and creative consultant, Chris brings a vibrant voice to the Wayfarer creative team. Chris currently serves full-time as the college minister of Calvary Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Before joining the Calvary staff in 2009, Christ spent five years on Wayfarer’s full-time staff as our poet, a creative voice who contributed to all our intersections. Previously, Chris had been a producer, writer, and performer with Student Life. He graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic College and received his Master of Divinity degree from Beeson Divinity School. Chris his wife Audrey have three children, Simon, Addie Gail, and Maggie.
